We support climate-smart agri-tech ventures to scale.

A glimpse of what awaits you

GO Muhazi is a venture-building engine based in Rwanda, designed to support growth stage tech ventures working at the intersection of climate and agriculture. Specifically, those stuck in what we are calling the missing middle: too advanced for early-stage accelerators but not quite ready for investment." The experience includes:

🌿 Tailored venture and business growth support from top-tier advisors, recognising that growth-stage startups face unique, context specific challenges

🏞️ Immersive residentials at Isano Lodge for deep work, mentorship, and peer learning

🧑🏽‍🏫 Best-in-class cohort experience, drawing on Brink’s venture support playbook and the unique setting of Isano Lodge

🌐A curated network of investors and funders accessed through deal-rooms and funder matchmaking.

Rooted at Isano Lodge on Lake Muhazi, the program is about getting  ventures in the right rooms, preparing them for high-stakes conversations, coaching them through navigating the missing middle, and ultimately getting them investment-ready to support their scale.

Our aim is to catalyse a pipeline of ventures that drive rural economic transformation, improve food security, and unlock climate adaptation at scale, while building the foundation for long-term impact in Rwanda and beyond.

Why Rwanda? Why Now?

Rwanda stands at a pivotal moment for climate and agritech innovation. The agriculture sector faces urgent challenges such as erratic rainfall, soil degradation, water scarcity, and reliance on rain-fed farming, worsened by climate change. Tackling these issues is key to food security and rural livelihoods.

The government’s supportive policies and partnerships have created a strong foundation for green technologies and sustainable agriculture, with rising interest from investors and development agencies in climate-resilient, transformative solutions.

With over 70% of the population engaged in agriculture, high mobile phone use, and strong support for digital innovation, there’s a clear opportunity to back scalable startups that modernise smallholder farming, cut post-harvest losses, and improve access to inputs, markets, and finance.

For founders tackling challenges like these

Including but not limited to:

Climate-Smart Agriculture & Water Efficiency: solar-powered or gravity-fed irrigation, climate-smart advisory tools, resilient seed varieties and biogas & zero-grazing models

Cold Chain & Post-Harvest Innovation: Energy-efficient cold storage, cooling-as-a-Service, food loss reduction, and local manufacturing of storage tech

Digital AgTech & Embedded Finance: IoT-enabled precision tools, bundled services (inputs + advisory + credit), agent-based platforms, and offline-first tech

Value Addition & Agro-Processing: Local processing in key value chains (dairy, horticulture, coffee), logistics innovation, and export market linkage

Youth Employment & Rural Job Creation: enables youth-owned agri-enterprises, builds last-mile agent networks, or offers digital skilling and dignified rural jobs.

Ventures that are

✔ Post-product-market fit: core product works and is in use

Led by teams with: deep local insight and rural proximity

Positioned for growth: aiming for 10%+ quarterly revenue growth

Designing for real-world: farmer use and scalable unit economics

Operating or expanding: into Rwanda, especially rural districts

About us

Brink is a global team of strategists, designers, and coaches using Behavioural Innovation to unlock the human side of systems change. Most of the world’s urgent challenges aren’t due to a lack of technology or talent, but because behaviour is too often left out of the equation. That’s the gap Brink was built to close.

Since 2018, we’ve supported over 340 ventures across 53+ countries to access more than £60m in funding. We’ve shaped ventures, coalitions, and public programmes tackling everything from climate to education, digital health to inclusive finance. Our approach blends design thinking, behavioural science, and adaptive experimentation, tailored to each context, never one-size-fits-all.

At GO Muhazi, we plan to use this experience to support a new generation of founders navigating complexity and scale.
